Not to play the moron mesmerized by pretty shiny objects, but those night battle screen shots look awesome. They look to have a different feel about them.
Anyway, thanks for the notice PSYCHO V.

I havn't opened it yet as I am at work and the title had me worried that I would get instant dismissal for viewing p o r n at work.
KukriKhan 06:43 06-23-2005

Note the Publisher is SEGA... will this mean more patch support for this product?????

what the heck?

that looks amazing
Nothing in RTW looks like that. Damnit. I wish they would take all their time to fix the gameplay. The game looks nice enough already. All this fancy dancy stuff better not sacrifice what really matters.

They look great! I doubt the graphics part of R:TW BI can disappoint anyone. Now it all depends on what they choose to do with the battles, AI and load-bug.

About that picture. The soldiers seem to have the Cross insignia on their chestpieces, shields and flags, yet they look almost barbarian. Any clue as to what faction this might be? My first guess would be the Franks, but I'm not sure when the Franks were converted?

The Franks would have converted like any other people: the first to convert would have quite quickly after first contact with Christianity, the last far into the Middle Ages (there are pagan remnants to be found in Western Europe past the year 1000) However, the Franks officially converted because their king Chlodovech (better known as Clovis) converted to Catholic Christianity in 499. This meant instant succes for the Franks as most other Germanic peoples at the time were mainly Arian Christians who were despised by their 'Roman' subjects, who were Catholic.
The Franks were among the latest Germanic peoples to convert (apart from the Saxons, of course), so I guess these men bearing crosses could be any kind of Arian Christian Germanics, like the Goths or the Vandals...

I think the Goths had some form of Christian belief....
*waves fist at brain for not remembering*
Anyway, am I the only who is disapointed that there are so few screenies of the strategic map released - for all the TW games, not just BI. I always prefer to study the campaign map rather than the battle map. Am I just wierd?

Thanks Psycho V for the screenies...
It definitely changed my attitude against CA....

Wow quite impresive. Or have they just made them up like they did for the promos of RTW? I shall hope not. Anyway looks good.

Who cares about pics? The important thing is....
"Q. What's the latest regarding the load/save/siege issue.
A. Much I want to say this is now sorted and carved in stone, I can't. Please remember that expansion pack is in development and there is still much going on at the moment that I can't talk about for various reasons. I am prepared to say that it is certainly our intention to address the load/save issue in the expansion pack. "And what about a patch?" I hear you ask. Again I can't say this is set in stone but we hope to bring out a patch at roughly the same time as the expansion pack (in reality it will probably be few weeks later).
That's the state of play at the moment. When I know more, I'll make sure that you know more."
