Something New....

A little something I've been working on. It still has work to be done on it, like Markland, the sea divisions and minor tweaks (province names, some islands may go), but expect a full announcement of a new BKB project for Medieval soon incorporating my new map.



It might not be completely geographically correct but its near enough there. It took me ages so apart from what I said NOTHING will be changed at this point.

Yep. Two periods. Can't say what yet though. I don't want to reveal stuff until next week when the map is finished. Then I'll post a final pic with details. It probably won't be what you expect BTW.

You were closer with your second guess, though full on colonization is not really my intent. More of a 'those who might be expected to should try to gain it', if you catch my drift.

I think it would be great to play that. If you do add AI, if you could make the AI like the Vikings in the expansion - THAT WOULD BE SWEET!!!!!

Have you ever thought that BKB might be bored of the whole Super Mod thing, he has been doing it for nigh on 3 years now(well, ever since VI came out) so tbh, I think he deserves a chance to do something new.

BKB has worked damn hard for us fans, and his efforts have created some of the best moments you can encounter in the game. Keep up the good work BKB.

if you move into North America, will you meet Indians? That would be quite the shock for european soldiers, but for the player who could raise them...it would be a VERY nice thing.

Here's the finished map before I run it into the LMM. The seas are in place. I know they look a little square but it was too difficult and time consuming to make them all curvy, especially as there is so many of them. I also know the names are modern and I made up one or two (Sea of the Isles), but they sound pretty good and god knows even if they had names for the American seas in Medieval times:
