    What are referrals and how do you obtain them????

    I believe that when a new user registers at the site (it's been a while since I was one), they are asked whether they were referred to the site by a current member. If so that member then gets a referral.

    As far as I'm aware they don't do anything apart from sit in your profile and show how many friends you've managed to corrupt.
