Mods lying/deleting threads for no reason

I have looked over the thread that you state got me banned....

it's exactly as I just stated in my previous post...i stated that totalwar.com uses "nazi tactics" to coverup any negative threads.

Unless you yourself work for CA I don't know why you would take offense to that statement...it's not as if it's untrue. We all know they pick and choose the posts that are allowed to be viewed in an attempt to paint the picture of a "happy community" when the community as a whole is anything but happy.


Again...i personally think that any mod who ignorantly just distorts the meaning of someone's text, because he has a fetish with CA and feels the need to defend them, should be banned also.

I will reiterate: Stating that the totalwar.com forums use "nazi tactics" is not in violation of the terms of service. What if I said "stalin tactics"? would that be a violation?

I also want to clarify something for symetical: NOBODY, as I've stated repeatedly in my first post, contacted me about this ban. Nobody. Not only that but when I contacted THEM asking why I was banned, they refused to respond. I say refused because I've sent at least 3 requests for the reason. No replies.

Another thing: These forums use a point warning system to decide who is banned and who isn't. Mods don't just make those decisions based on personal discretion. I think this is a fantastic system, and when followed, avoids exactly this situation.

Explain to me what the point of having that system in place is, if mods are allowed to bypass it, cheat it, alter it and just flat out not use it?

If I was warned for saying "retarted" and "nazi tactics" that would only make 4 points of warning...it takes 5 to be banned for ONE day. I was banned for 2 days, only cited regarding one warning, and somehow am shown to have 10 warning points.

Again, what's the point of a system if a mod can lie and just call the number 4, the number 10?

As you see, this thread has NOT been locked, moved, or responded to by a mod responsible for it's creation.

Any kind of "flaming", slurs or insults adressed to an individual or a group is extremely inappropriate. Please respect etiquette at all times.

Some of the patrons at the Org work for CA. As such your posts violate the Orgs rules.

Warnings can be 0 to infinite, it depends on the history of the poster as much as the post.

Nor do moderators decide someone gets an instant ban. I requested that it be done, even when a patron flaunts the rules we will confer as a group.

Also the moderators are not on 24/7, we are patrons and volunteers. The onus is on the patron to be polite, Just like sport play the ball not the person. you should be moderating yourself and be a lot more polite to yourself and other patrons.

The site has 10 year olds to eighty year olds. This is not a pub or a sports locker room so it is not the right place for swearing.

I certainly haven't lied about why you have been banned. You can rant as much as you want at me, I don't mind if you want to call me any name under the sun. However attack another patron or group of patrons then expect to pay the consequences for your actions.

In short you can act how you want, banned or not banned there is a cost to your actions. Chill, be factual, backup your posts and be good to yourself by being polite particularly to the people who are upsetting you.

We do not work for CA.

When you signed up with the Org you accept the rules. The Org does not accept flaming at the Org. You called a group Nazis. You cannot call CA or any other group Nazis. Trolling is not acceptable here.

You are correct the Org will not accept slander on any group that is at the Org. The Org does accept thoughtful analysis, troubleshooting and documentation of problems.

The mods have an obvious interest in being slightly pro-CA because they want CA postings here. If it's a nasty bash fest, they won't get the CA posts and that would suck, so I have to agree with their position, even if it seems a little unfair sometimes.
