Default Medieval Mod IV v4 beta maps posted

Edit: The beta is now posted, and the thread posted in the Engineering Guild.

Yes, after a year's delay, the ultimate version of the Medmod is finally here to blow you away.

Way to go Wes, the other versions are excellent.

Ah, I can't wait for the beta to come out, finally gives me a reason to re-install M:TW. Once I get some free time(i'm on dialup) i'll dl these maps and have a look at them. Great to see you've been feeling better and that work on the MedMod is continuing WesW.

Hey, you're official again... glad to hear you're feeling better.
On the map, I'm VERY uncomfortable with the huge addition to "hungary." yes, it went over westward towards what's now Istria, but not to the point that it dominated the Eastern half of teh Alps... unless that's just a color shift that I can't make out with my Mark1A1 eyeball... nice balancing job otherwise.

I hope I can have the MM4 beta posted in a few days. I just gave an update in the Alchemist Lab, if you want details. Thanks to a tip from Viking Horde, I found out that the purple tint on the tga can be removed by using an older version of PSP, so if you felt a sudden breeze this afternoon, it may have been me letting out my huge sigh of relief.

Russ, I haven't added much to the original area of Hungary. It's probably impossible to distinguish Carniola from Pannonia from looking at the bitmap.

Hopefully the recurring silence simply means "holiday," rather than "Wes is sick again."
