That's just harsh. Crap indeed; it's like saying you can't move out with all those useless stocks and bonds.

The Dark Knight series of graphic novels were pretty amazing.
    Has anyone else read these?

I've never been much of a Comic Reader, but my guess is that they're biased towards each nation, American's pretty much love/like American Super Heroes exclusively, British love theirs, Japanese love theirs, etc. etc. Doesn't mean one is better than another, more so it's just cultural difference that most don't understand.

    I like Benny Hill...

But Michael Palin,John Cleese, and Eric Idol are soooo much better.

Benny Hill was dreadful. He had one joke. Sorry make that two, I'm being unfair on the guy.

joke one: slap a little blad guy on the head, and crank up the film speed.

joke two:Chase scantily dress women about a park, (again crank up the film speed and play a mournful durge on a kazoo), through some lavatories (where bald man gets slapped again) and end by being persued by Police.

    Seen one. Seen them all.
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

    Face it, that IS funny.

Apparrently Benny Hill and Mr Bean are the two most watched British comedies globally. (probably because they don't need translating). The world must think we are morons.

Anyway, OT, V for Vendetta is probably the best "big expensive comic" (to quote Alan Moore) I've read and I loved 2000AD as a kid but I can't compare it to much American stuff.

Big G its a shame you never came across Judge Dredd, he's you, basically. "Hoverboarding in a no Hoverboarding zone, ten years in a juve-cube, citizen. Move." ;-)

Mr. Bean was just plain stupid. Benny Hill was so stupid, it was clever. It's kind of like propellors...they move so quickly, they look like they're moving slowly, backwards.
