This is odd indeed...
Try running the following from the command line:
(include the double quotes)Code:net start "DCOM Server Process Launcher"
Post the output.
Try running setup.exe again.
If it still fails to run can you take this disc to another PC, run the setup program from there and see if it works?
Do other .msi setup programs install ok?
