Before he did lotr, many moons ago he made a film about Zombies in NZ...jeez it was sickening...really gory. I Think it was called Bad Taste.
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

I think you're talking about Braindead. Bad Taste was before that, and has aliens in. Braindead is very funny and totally insane, watch it and I bet you'll never believe that the same guy went on to make LOTR and now this!

Braindead, what a film it was so bad that it was actually good. The end bit in his mothers house with the lawnmower was so funny.
