Will you guys be addressing the biggest enemy of the Byzantines? Themselves? The constant imperial manuevering within the various factions and small civil wars wore down the untiy of this once great empire. I think if MTW would have put some focus on this issue, it wouldn't be so easy to conquer the world as the Byzantines. Religious problems like the Iconoclastic episode seriously sapped the power of the Empire. Treason and treachery of the type that led to the disaster of Manzikert really need to be included.

Well, we might do the Byzantine Rebels faction. And we might do the religion problem.
Anyways, we have those 2 implemented into our RTW BI version.

I just want to tell you, that I like idea of this mod. Idea of Grand Mod is good, but don't split your energy. I'd suggest to continue with this mod, and then continue with Grand mod. I hope that Czechs will be in Grand mod, too.

That would be an quite a task and I'm honoured you offer it to me but I don't think I have the time and I don't have the know-how beyond map making and playing with the startpos files. Maybe in the summer though.
