It's not only required and right to discuss anti-semitism in Canada, but downright healthy. Racism always look worst in the light of day.

For my part, I think the wide coverage of anti-Semitic acts in Canada shows more about our intolerance of them then to show the prepondernace of the acts themselves. There are occasions where the reactions to the anti-Semetic acts are a bit overblown, but in the long run that is better than just having the acts glossed over.

I would hate to live in a place where racism was normal. I prefer living here where it is seen as an abberation.

I am pretty sure that with the same criteria you can say the same thing about prosecution against gypsies, arabic muslims, natives and ET with friends.
Anti-semitism as described is a crime that needs to be enforced. I can't really see why things always should be blown out of proportion.......
