Seriosly don't do that again. Everytime this guy's name is mentioned a bad film is made. It's freaky but it hapens.

Why no votes for PT Anderson?

    You mean Spielberg, right?

I agree with Ronin - Kevin Smith should be on the list. He's never done anything I didn't like, including appearing on Degrassi Junior High.

Tarantino's not bad, I guess, but all of his movies are tributes, which kind of makes him a hack...and kind of doesn't.

I'm too underwhatced. Know only Tarantino and Sofia, so no votes...

Well my friend what are you wating for? For convience I'll tell you which ones you should definetly watch:

    Dogville

    Traffic

    Boogie Nights

    Magnolia

    Morvern Callar

    American Beauty

In the mood for Love (Beatiful movie)

    Fight Club

    Seven

    The Royal Tenembaums

    Y tu Mama Tambien

    my favourites are:

    =Ronin
    from the list:
    Quentin Tarantino ...pure brilliant genious....
David Fincher.....fight club and se7en are amazing...the game is just a notch lower...but just by a tiny bit.

    Fully agree with you.

    should be on the list:
Kevin Smith (come on...all 5 of his movies are brilliant)

Yeah the writing is clever and hillarious but his skill as a director is not exactly brilliant. Sorry to difer with you mate.

Well he blends various B movies he's seen in his youth(I heard he watched 3 movies a day) with the style of Godard but creates something completely original. I definetly see a lot of influences sure, but that doesn't make him a hack since none of those movies are as good as his most of the time, IMO.
