I think that Thrace and Dacia became one along with Numidia going the way of the dodo, but I can't remember what happened to the other faction slot.

mmmm, I have a feeling that given the nomadic nature of parthia, while we've been waiting for them for a long time they're probably gonna turn out to be (apart from the cataphracts, which will be amazing) mostly dirty people in brown outfits (or brightly coloured outfits maybe, I dont know) with really good bows. And spearmen.

Same with sarmatia, though they would have some really beautiful heavy cavalry too

I would much rather see armenia, which probably had a lot more heavy infantry and stuff like that.

Probably not, we've seen the maps already... what else is there? It's kinda hard to preview gameplay dynamics without playing the game itself. Possibly a faction again... and yes, I hope it's the Dahae, or alternatively Sarmatia. I want to see some HA.
