Backroom search disabled?

Is there a reason why the Backroom is 'non-searchable'. I was just looking for a post of Panzer Jaegers in the backroom, and searched all his posts. I was quite surprised when only six posts came up. Investigation revealed that this is because the backroom is completely transparent to the search function. It juts doesn't search the backroom, or even list it in the searchable forums.

Is there a reason for this?

That's right. The Tavern isn't searchable. The reason is that search is an intensive proces. Decisions have to be made to keep it running.

Fair enough, secondary follow up, is it the tavern that's not searchable, or just the backroom? If it's the tavern you need to check your settings, as I can search the frontroom. Otherwise it's all good.

Nah, it's all good now, I just did the manual trawl

I just remembered a string of words from you in that thread, which probably wouldn't be repeated reguarly, so I wanted to do that search to save time.

Thanks for the follow up dgb. I don't recall really whether I meant to turn it on or off. But the board doesn't groan, so it will let it stay on for the Frontroom.
