    Question Impressions from KoH

    Well guyz...

Yesterday I finally have seen Kingdom of Heaven....

Very good movie in general, but there were some aspects which were confusing.... Reynald of Chatillon was the Grand Master of the Templars!!!! (historically, it was Gerard of Ridefort) Also, Guy of Lusignan was the commander of the Templars?!!! Man, this movie is quite derailed....

The movie concludes with a question that I don't know: Who was the predecesor of Guy of Lusignan?!

Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.

A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?

His predecessor was Baldwin V. Do you mean his successor?

If only Hollywood had done an interesting movie about the politicla intrigues of the court of Jerusalem, instead of some modernist, sentimental claptrap about tolerance and some silly, half thought out love story? A subject with potential, but sadly ruined by the film studios.
