    Hello EU1, mate!

This thread looks a bit like 'your 3 fav members thread' but it's way better then a pointless poll, right partner?

I must say I have made some new friends here meanwhile so I'll make a new list.

I sadly don't have much time at the moment and you'll have to wait til tomorrow.

EDIT: I saw Clayton Ballentine is back, btw. He was logged on sometime. He also posted in monastry, but I'm afraid he won't show up in frontroom anymore.

I miss Demon of Light, he was a good mate of mine and I don't seem to him him so much anymore.

Beirut rules, he likes the Floyd you way you should, and is generally cool.

I should also mention Cygnus-X1, or he'll get all pissy

Oh, I'm bonded in blood with all the other mods too, of course.

I haven't been here long, but I think I've made some good friends. I like almost everyone here at the .org . No-one seems like a bad person, but there are people I've had more conversations with than others.

Emperor Umeu 1 - We do get along, it's true. Some good conversations with this guy.

littlegannon - He is my mate outside of the .org so I suppose he deserves a mention.

Tibilicus, Viking, King Ragnar and Ziaelas - My fellow clan mates. A good bunch of guys.

I'll finish this list tomorrow, gotta go now.

Anyway, i havn't been around that long and a lot of people probably can't remember me posting while reading this. So i guess i don't really have man 'friends' here on a personal level. I do enjoy this community though and love hanging around here.

Thank you for this. Isn't it ironic--that two can fight so much and be friends? It's the story of my life. I have had the biggest knock-down drag-out fights over the years with those that have ended up being my best friends. Sometimes after a big row we'd go for more than a year without speaking to each other. But roots ran deep, and character strong; we took turns biting the bullet, apologizing and letting the small stuff go. Now we are brothers and sisters in all but blood. Hmmm--interesting. Brothers and sisters fight a lot too, but when the shyte hits the fan ... .

Same for me: The STW MP community of the last two years has been ripe with great people, and I consider them good friends. I've spent some time over the last month trying to figure out why my MTW-VI experience seems lacking, and this is what I've concluded: the level of friendship is just not the same. My clan m8s (Hunters) are all great guys and are an exception to this, but generally speaking, the foyer is just not nearly as friendly. I miss what I'm used to from STW-MP. I miss all my old m8s when I'm playing VI.

Nice to see and chat with Gaijin again--what a great person he is. Anskar, Methos, E-Menel and Ishida have transcended the Internet buddy stage and are considered True friends. TenkiSoratoti is another surprising case of discord transforming into harmony. Now he's my window into the English way, as Ishida is my educator of things Spanish. There are many who haven't been around that I miss: Yougish, Shimmy, Betou, PeePee, Drake/Whoami88, Kansuke, Grizz, Benkei/Sword of Cao Cao, Kamiizumi, Akechi Hideyasu (some great Haiku duels with this guy!) ... and even Yogo. Yes, YoungYogoBear! As much as he was a pain in the arse, he added a lot of character to the mix. It was interesting to see how everyone managed his shenanigans in the foyer and on the field.

And then there is Kas. Words are not sufficient to describe how cool this guy is. Miss ya m8: wish you were here.

I have been happy of late to make some new friends--Shambles and Trish, Gothic Goblin/Gobby and Drisos in particular. Been having a lot of fun on the forums, in the foyer, and on the field with them. And of course, Hunters Sun Tzu, Hikaru, King George, Heretic, WiddleBear, Naruto, Buntaro, Celty and Devastator. And Gawaine and Ichi. And UncleMarius. And MK_LordHundsgugel.

Wow, I have a lot of friends here in the TW community . I hope if I've missed anyone that they will understand--I've kinda put my foot in it listing specific folks as it is, but this is an opportunity to honor them, so I will.

There have been others here that I considered friends, but disagreements, and incidents resulting from them, have driven us apart. I sense that animosity still exists, but still hope that time will heal wounds and allow forgiveness to take its rightful place. Friendship is da bomb--one of Life's priceless treasures. It does require an investment in time, trust, and a bit of selflessness, and very often--heavy doses of forgiveness. But I think it's worth it. It has been for me anyway.

    Thanks, friends. *bows low*
