Removing a Faction

There's a new one.

I was wondering if anyone knows or can point me to a thread that explains how to remove a Roman faction and redistribute it's territory. I'm playing both RTR and Darth Mod (both of which are outstanding), but for my taste a single Roman faction's too few and three are too much. I'd like to remove one Roman faction and give some of their territory to the Greeks...kind of a compromise between RTR's and DM's Roman starting positions.

I'm a complete newb as to modding RTW but any help would be appreciated.

But fair warning, sometimes modding the Roman factions can have unexpected results (as major mod teams have discovered). I don't see why there should be any problems in just removing one, but if things don't work out then come back and ask.

And some general tips, when editing the map: make only small changes at a time, test often and keep backups!

Thanks for the response E. Richard.

The Senate dynamics worry me a bit too as, at least at the beginning of a game, the missions for each faction seem almost hardcoded.

I'll be back when I fail miserably!
