    Question One Lucky Scot King

Playing BKB Mod v2.1 and wiped out the scots turn 1 but there is 1 scot king left(only survivor of the first battle) 2 turns later(a siege would have lost too many men) there is 26 royal knights and 60 clansmen. Now heres the prob either the king or the prince escapes! even when I surround them with knights by the hundreds either the king or the prince escapes. Now any ideas to kill the king and the prince?

Yeah, Kings and heirs are sometimes hard to kill. You should try to get him with an high-ranking general. Or try to pin them with crossbows. In hand-to-hand combat only two soldiers can attack a single enemy at a time. Bows can shoot at him simultanously AFAIR (but you might loose some men to freindly fire...)

Indeed only 2 soldiers can attack one enemy simultaneously. But a combined flank and rear attack (a charge from all 4 sides) could cause the Scot to flee. He wiil stop fighting, but he won't be having an escape route. Hopefully, he will die after few minutes.

Pin him with spears front and back and let fly with your arrows! You'll lose a lot of speras but he should be skewered.
Alternatively pin him with one unit of spears and have 1 unit of cavalry in wedge ready to charge into his back. Then hit him with crossbow fire until just before they rout, then charge the cavalry.

Javelins and a spam unit that won't route at the first Scot they see.

Yeah took care of the Scot King, surround him with english foot knights (BKB Mod only), they not as powerful as chiv knights so it dosn't force the Scot King to Flee but powerful enough to kill him, eventually...

Killed the French King in Anjou which I took 1st turn and he try to reclaim it 3rd turn but died in a forest to my dismounted chiv knights.

Then by the 10th turn I have killed 3 Spainish Kings in 2 Bridge Battles and 1 normal in Valencia(got that via bribe 2nd turn). 9/10ths of my losses were to those lancers, I actually allowed them to be ransomed back, just to face them again.

So 10th year in game and wiped out french, scot and castile factions.

Only prob my army is a utter mess trying to take french and spainsh land before aragon or some other faction does.
