    Default Can you bribe ally generals?

    i'm sure it's in one of the faqs, but i'm lazy lol

    so can you bribe generals of your allies? Cuz I swear I have 2 egyptian generals, but they are my ally. I read somewhere that you can't bribe allies.

    you can bribe allied generals. exept when their a heir or a king.

    As I recall, you can't bribe faction leaders & heirs, but you can bribe other family members. If they accept, they will join your faction as adopted sons.

    Prior to patch 1.2 you can bribe anything you want, treasury pending

    After 1.2 patch
    If your Roman you can't bribe Roman generals until the civil war starts. You can bribe any other of your allies general.

    Not to sure if your non Roman and allied to a Roman if you can bribe thier generals. So basically if thet're not Roman they are free game for sure.

    Also bribing amounts to transgression wich provokes a higher chance of them attacking you.

    Not true that your Roman diplomats can't bribe allied generals. I'm in turn 30 of my Brutii campaign and I have a Decius Julius and Lucius Scipio leading two of my armies. No civil war, and I'm 1.2.

    your probaly trying to bribe your ally heir or leaders
