The Minoans were advanced for their time (good ships, multistory buildings, civic & private plumbing, sport etc) but all the flying, crystals, nukes etc is just fantasy bollocks.

It also has the advantage that in the wake of the eruption & decline of Minoan culture, there was a Greek invasion, becoming the Mycenaean culture, which fits with the Plato description of Greek ancestors having defeated the Atlanteans.

Of course, I'm no historian & certainly haven't read any primary sources etc.
and this also could be the explantion of the sea people, as the minoans probably wouldnt have just all died out.

    Hello all

Those that are interested might want to check this out:

    http://www.sidis.net/TSContents.htm

This is a book written by James William Sidis at 1935, talking mainly about native american history.

Sidis was a prodigy, according to proffesional psychologists the greatest mind ever born. He knew all the languages of the world by heart and could learn a new one every day while he was learning. You might want to browse the rest of the linked site to read about him.

In his book he claims that atlantis existed and was placed in the middle of the atlantic. Lately I have also read a few articles claiming the discovery of submerged man made structures at the approximate region.

Anyway, Sidis also wrote a novel about atlantis but it hasnt been found yet.
He has also written a book about the reversibility of the laws of Thermodynamics and tries to extend the law of entropy, in my opinion it is simple and accesible but a masterpiece nevertheless, showing the way to technologies unheard of. It is also at that site.
    Enjoy reading it.
