Will this mod encompass both Europe AND eastern Asia? IF so, I'd suggest a later, medieval date, perhaps 1400s? This was when both sides were fairly united, etc. That Han Dynasty start doesn't sound too bad either, except for the fact that the Japanese would then be quite...uncivilised as yet. Up to the 2 Blind Morons though!
