After captring Tarentum, complete with arena, I get some weird text, all in capitals, which says
THIS TEXT SHOULD NEVER APPEAR ON SCREEN AND SHOULD NOT BE TRANSLATED.
Is this dangerous?![]()

I don't think so. Do you have a mod installed? i had that problem back with RTR 5.0...
I had that screen appearing once, I had to laugh a bit when I saw it
I think that was with 1.0, vanilla. And I don`t think it`s dangerous.

It's not dangerous, but perhaps you've modded your game, because in /text/export_buildings it does contain this text where a building that's not supposed to exist for that faction exists. E.g. if you have a shrine of leadership for Parthia, for example, you would get that text. I've tested it before. It only appears if you've done something you shouldn't while modding, but it only affects the text and not the gameplay.

The programmers probably put that in there so they could get flagged when something stupid happened.
Fighting isn't about winning, it's about depriving your enemy of all options except to lose.

This text happens when you capture Roman towns as another faction. If that town has an Arena or it's upgrades in it and you try to have some games there, then it will show that text because you aren't supposed to have games as other factions. What i don't see is why they didn't just disable the option for other factions to hold games.
Then it's moddable, I guess. So maybe we can manually remove it ourselves.
