At the start of 2005 there was a lot going on, people were leaving and Rome had affected the community and a lot of the leadership here was preoccupied. I posed the question to the mods but there was little to no interest.

So no, dessa , its not just you. Seems to me that this needs someone to pick it up and get 'r done as the blue collar boys like to say. I cannot imagine that there is anyone who would be opposed to it, it just needs someone to make it happen, IMO.

What is HOF? I've seen it's in the Awards section, on the toolbar.

    Hall Of Fame.
GARCIN: I "dreamt," you say. It was no dream. When I chose the hardest path, I made my choice deliberately. A man is what he wills himself to be.
INEZ: Prove it. Prove it was no dream. It's what one does, and nothing else, that shows the stuff one's made of.
GARCIN: I died too soon. I wasn't allowed time to - to do my deeds.
INEZ: One always dies too soon - or too late. And yet one's whole life is complete at that moment, with a line drawn neatly under it, ready for the summing up. You are - your life, and nothing else.

Ok, so it was Hall of Fame. So what is Hall of Fame .

If people want to run it I'll help with organisation if people are interested. Actually, I will in three weeks. I've got exams soon.

The Hall of Fame was an annual event where there was a selection of Guild members for a whole slew of categories. Categories like "best debater", "best historian", "best MP clan", but also stuff like "best mod" (as in modification, not moderator) were included. After selection by the public in threads in their appropriate forums, voting commenced. Obviously, the one with the most votes won. Members who are included in the Hall of Fame have a little "HF" icon with a distinct color below their location tag.

I was just thinking of this yesterday. What happened?

Given that is is judged on performance over the year (from what I can tell) it makes no sense to hold it midyear dessa...
