    Is there any way that you can Mod or change/add your Rulers heirs that are born ?

    I noticed in one of Barraco's (sp?) downlaoded campaigns files that he has units in the index file that say " Hier #1" and so forth down to #8

    basicly im looking to make a campaign mod that enables you to play the game for 100's of years.. without having to worry bout your daiymo dieing and no heirs to take over

    Also... with the new patch.. Ive seen a few people talking bout changing troop size... is that in the files only? or during actual gameplay can you change unit size?

    I know thiers the option that you can do before you start a game.. either 60 80 100 or 120.. but is there a way to do it while playing?

    thanx

    if you look in the 'troopstats.txt' file in the main directory, you'll see a parameter listing called 'Unit size (based on 60)'. this is the default unit size of units in a game where your options for unit sizes are 60. you will then see the actual unit stats below laid out like this:

    SamuraiArchers
    {
    1, 1, 5, 9.2, 11, 2, 8, 8, 256, 75, 75, 500, 2, 0, 0, 1, 0, 28, 60
    }

    that last number, in this case 60, is how many men you'll get when buying this unit when your game options are set for 60 men per unit. you can alter this stat to give more than 60 or less than 60 for the initial purchase. if you set it to 30, for instance, and you're playing with normal settings of 60 men per unit in your options, then you'll get 30 men instead of 60 when buying this unit.

    just remember that if you set it larger than 60, say you set it to 120, and then you change your game options to use 120 men as the initial number of men per unit, you'd now be getting 240 men with that one unit that you set at 120 in the 60 man, but, the game cant handle 240 men units, so your game would crash. the max number of men per unit in ANY circumstance is 120. and, as mentioned in other threads, the unit size must be divisible by 3 in the troopstats file.
