anyone ever use the chatroom anymore

This function was brought to my attention in another thread but sadly no one uses it. I think it would be nice, as youre surfing the web to talk to other TW fans.. - Maybe im the only one or maybe the problem is awareness. Apparently not alot of people know about it.

It has its own link on the .org navigation bar and its a fully separate function, so you dont have to be on the org to use it i dont think. Its under the o-so-confusing name "Chat(Java)".

Well ive logged on for two days now for an hour or so both times while i do my internet stuff and have yet to see anyone there.. hopefully others will log on if it is brought to their attention.

This hapened a couple of months ago. It's nothing new. In fact I was a main proponent in pushing for a mIRC version as well, and now I never use it. It's hopeless if no one shows up. Plus isn't posting kind of like chatting?

Because its a chat room. Chat rooms have acquired a rather tedious and limitted image since the early days. Also arguments in chat rooms tend to be built out of petty one liners rather than reasoned debate and so even the wisest of users cannot put down a know-nothing-know-it-all because they can't produce enough damage in a single attack to strike them down.

I like the chat room and now use it everytime I am on. I am on at 10 every night GMT -4, so 22:00 to 23:00 GMT -4.
