I reccomend Hearts of Iron II. It has the best documentation and tutorials to bite your teeh on. Apparently once you get the hang of one Paradox Game, the rest are easy to figure out--as they all use the same basic foundation. Victoria seems to have the best Graphics though, if you care about that.
are you planing on buying EU2? Most people thought it was better the HOI2...i think i'll just buy EU2, it's alot cheaper
