rarely is it worth my time to sit in front of the television. a quick rifle through the channels displays the lack of creative and compelling broadcasting.
whenever I watch TV I look for non-fiction or music programs. euro football is also great

"Dragon Ball Z" takes the cake for me. Anime characters grimacing during intensely boring monologues, and occasionally fighting amongst themselves. Dreadful. I will prevent my children from being polluted by this rubbish.

Married with children is going to go down as a clasiic . In fact it already is. Even if it werent funny, which it is, just looking at Kelly is enough to hold my interests. How can you not likr that show. And Urkel is such a perfect geek.you forgot: married with Children, Steve Urkel (family matters)

For me Steve Urkel has to be the most annoying character to ever be created in any entertainment medium.
As for worst TV show, I took an elective course on Television while I was attending Penn State. We had the unfortunate circumstance to watch a 50's sitcom called Mac & Meyer For Hire. It appeared that Mac & Meyer were supposed to be imitations of Abbott & Costello. It was by far the most painful "comedy" I've ever seen. You couldn't pay an audience enough money to fake a laugh at this show.

I can't think of a truly "worst" out there, many shows I don't watch because I'm very sure I won't like them.
There are some shows, however, that I have issues with.
"ER". Ok, I compare the producers of this show with kids who've gotten tired of their dollhouse, and have found new entertainment in sticking pins and needles in the dolls and lighting them on fire. This show tortures its characters for fun, and the sheer quantity of misfortune heaped upon them destroys all realism. I'm still waiting for there to be a suicide bomber episode. I just know it will happen.
If I can think of more, I'll post it later. I had a list in mind, but right now I need to get to sleep.

However nothing, or a very scant few TV shows will ever be worse than...

There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

Yeah...I never 'got' friends either....and I thought it was just me.It just is not funny....I thought it was a soap the first time I watched it. It wasn't until I'd heard about a dozen bouts of canned laughter that I realised it was supposed to be funny.

As a lifelong citizen of this fair southern nation, I have always argued that while we may excel in certain arenas, present-day popular entertainment is something in which we should avoid any and all involvement.
Would you believe we were world leaders in this field when it was in its infancy? Now just look at the tripe we churn out! Home & Away, Neighbours, Kylie, Delta Goodrem, these names seriously sicken me.
