Good news from the qaa:

IV.)There will be in total 21 new factions including both the Roman Factions. of which only 10 factions will be playable without modding.The 21 factions are as follows:

I think the numberlimit of factions is still the same, but they got rid of the "shared vision, and senate missions"

As you can see, some of the factions are rebels that is supposed to appear during the campaign. This wold be very temting to use for Normands aso, but then the factions won't be playable. I wold like as many factions as possible being playaple, so that everyone can play their favorite faction.

Some could start with only one province, or just as a horde.

I'm fairly sure the max amount of faction wil still be 21, sadly. Too bad, cause we could have added Britanny, a few anglo saxons kingdoms, the Idrisids, the Volga Bulghars, some italian kingdoms, etc.
