How can you blend textures 17-20 with the surrounding? I use texture 12 but there is always a sharp edge somewhere.

    Konnichiwa,

9, 10 and 11 blend green 4 with brown 12 and also 17-20. Mind that textures like the ones mentioned should be grouped in 4, the rocky parts pointing inwards to each other. And yes, textureblending can be a pain, I hope MTW will have a system of overlays and or morphing or just smaller tiles and more textures.

Hint: a pool of water can be nice to cloak misblends, or use the edge of a map to get rid of a non-matching sequence, place shrubs/rocks to soften slight misblends, use a village (human activity could cause some 'sharp' edges).

    Konnichiwa TosaInu sama,

Thx for the advice. But then it seems that one cannot avoid having misblends with 17-20 if you use them to cover only 2 or 3 tiles.
