There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

Well, if I must. Napoleon Buonoparte ranks highly, as does Alexander. Augustus I respect more than Julius. Several others as well - Sertorius in Spain was amusing, Aetius, Belisarius - I could go on and on.

Erich Von Manstein - An amazing general. He told Hitler off to his face. He also managed to remain a gentleman in the highest Prussian sense.
Jimmy Page - Best guitarist in the history of man. Amazing musician as well.
