    I wonder what sort of shelf life you get from those?
    I reckon they'd be a right pain in the ass up here, where I live. Gravel, rocks and the worst roads in Australia. I'd sure hate to be picking crap out of them after every trip.

    yeah, i wonder how easily material gets stuck in the voids. unless it gets lodged in there, it seems like the rotation would sling stuff out right away.. and it can't be hard to put some sort of mesh around the outside of the tire, though that'd destroy some of the aesthetic.

    Pretty cool, I guess you don't need to worry about blown sidewalls (or any kind of flats) with these.

    I wonder how smooth the ride is, and how well the tread maintains contact during lateral stress.

    That would be helpful, considering the fact I recently spent an hour trying to change my flat tire that somehow popped, though I have no idea how.
