Thread: Looking for Doc re: new custom campaign

    Hello,

    I'm looking for Doc who has recently created a custom campaign and posted it to the ORG. I have just downloaded it and would like to know more about the background of the custom campaign, e.g. any background story / how it differs from the standard campaign / what are the changes made / recommended difficulty level. (something like a readme.txt)

    Yes I do, unfortunately I haven't seen him for a while, I guess real life consumes lots of his time.

    Doc's campaign gives the ai clans a more advanced starting point on the tech tree, and better units to start with. He has also adjusted the preferences for what kind of troops the ai will train, and he initially lowered the invasion thresholds to make the ai more aggressive. However, I think they are set back up because they were so low that the ai clans decimated themselves attacking each other. I'm not sure if he adjusted the ai's building preferences, but I know he wanted to.

    I have been been creating some custom campaigns with the editor and would like more information on the settings described above (i.e. invasion thresholds, ai prefs, etc.)
    Any info would be apreciated.

    Sorry I don't know how to modify AI behaviour either. Perhaps you can download Doc's campaign and compare his files and the default files in STW. That should provide some hint.
