Late, late answer.....
Was blocked the whole day at home for being in alert(in case of problems at work). There was no alert whatsoever. But I still earned more than 300 €uros for that. A good day, being paid for staying at home
And I watched a part of the great Parisian Parade with Chirac & its guest Lula. Just when I switched on, the parading regiment was the 27th Alpine Hunter. My former regiment. All in white. "The traditional uniform they wear here as you see them is the one that allows them to survive at -15°C temperatures", said the journalist. Argh. First sentence, first bullcraps.
1) Hunter's traditional uniform is blue.
2) The white one you see is a pure parade uniform - only useful when the TV is there. The color of your underwear has to be carefully chosen so that noone sees it throuhgh the uniform.
3) There is no need of Alpine Hunters at hot temperatures of -15°C. Anti-cold training is not even useful at -15°C. At -25°C the difference begins.....
So, 1 sentence, 3 blatant errors. I hate journalists. GAH!
