There are many bad bands, but I'll only mention one known internationally.
The Beatles. The humpty-dumpty guitar and slack drums irritate me all too much to enjoy the vocals, which aren't good but better than the rest. The music feels limp, for lack of a better word. Might as well call them "Beat-less".
If you're fighting fair you've made a miscalculation.

Have you ever heard "While My Guitar Gentley Weeps"? Or "Yer Blues"? Or any of their later stuff?
