Title says it all. What is the best band of all time(yes I know this is a repeat thread)?
I would say Pink Floyd, maybe Nightwish depending on the mood I'm in.

Iron Maiden.
Simple as that, they are THE greatest. Set the tone, style and inspiration for so much of todays rock and metal music and they are still going strong and producing amazing music. The blend of guitar melodies, riffs and solos are just the best there evil will be.
Notable bands which are close though are; Black Sabbath and Metallica.

I don't have one favourite, but to name a few: pink floyd, motorhead, normaal, iron maiden, sonata arctica, guns 'n roses, pearl jam, tokyo dragons and the chieftains.

There is no best. It's not like you can put a meter next to Pink Floyd and know that it's higher then some other band.
Ser i right. My favorite is Nine Inch Nails, because his lyrics rock, and I love the disturbing beats.
