I'm not available that much, but I'll pop on msn now and then. Especially on weekends, I think.

Gah! I've been thinking about the game and the community a lot past week, and I miss it!! I seems to be in a 'dead period' again.. With some enthusiams, some emails, a couple of games on the weekend interest will be back.
In short: I'm going to try a shogun revival, once again.

Btw, R'as, have you been in touch with Tomi over the last couple of months? It would be absolutely great if we would retry the 'Clan Wars Competition' again. This would surely bring back some people, and bring them together.. it's a matter of being able to play games to keep intrest, so we need something to start it up again. Last time the CWC was unfortunately cancelled, but it brought back lots of people on SOS.

Enough chit-chat!

to the community, certainly hope we can have some games and some viritual beers again, it's just too much fun not to.

Hello Kamiizumi,

I'm sorry that it shut down. Most probably, looking at the time of your post, it was time to reconnect. The machine running the server is on dsl, the provider cuts the connection every 24 hours, but the machine reconnects immediatly. This results in all fakeserver-connections being cut off. 1 min later you should've been able to connect again.
I also sometimes just restart the server when I have the impression that some name got stuck in the lobby, but I don't do that at that time of the night.
Bottom line, just try to reconnect 1 or 2 mins later and it should be fine.
I'll post any major maintenance downtimes here.

No need for apologies.
You'll get used to using the fakeserver.
BTW, no CD-key or Password needed. Just leave it blank.
If you want, you can edit the changes.txt in Main folder/loc/Eng (or other language) and edit the familyname. For excample one could add "47 Ronin" and choose Drisos as first name. Voila Drisos 47 Ronin.
Failed logins are quite normal, you sometimes need several attempts.



P.S: I kicked one of the Shinkamii's from the foyer, hope it was the old.

I changed my name in the changes.txt file as per your suggestion but it seems when I login without CD key and password (useless I understand) my new player is listed in the lobby as well as my former login.
I get:

at the same time so if you see the ShinKamiizumi in there, kick'em, K?

This are the times when you can feel really alone... but I have hope. I haven't gone that far to quit.

This week I'll be, consiquence of a convention me&myself and hopfully not all alone, available and in the foyer of STW MP all week days at 20.00 GMT with my STW Gold version.
At least this week I'll be there, that is 25-31 March.
About next week I'll post after this week's experience.
