    does the patch for STW:WE fix the problem of the army starting points on user-created maps?

    everytime i create a map with the map editor and then create a battle the armys never start on opposite ends of the battle field! does the patch fix this?

    The deployment zones were not changed, and they do not utilize the larger maps very well. It was requested they be changed in the patch, but, for whatever reason, it didn't happen.

    I made a map once with a castle surrounded by a moat. But unfortunately the castle was in both halves of the map, and so the attacker started inside it aswell as the defender.

    There is only one real explanation for this, a castle cannot be built in the same map as a river. At leasts thats what I figured out.

    toda,

    you can do rivers and castles together. you just have to know the rules. check out some of my maps. there is one with a river, a castle and re-inforcements. just a matter of knowing how things work.
