    Default Crusades

    Hi Everyone! How do I join A crusade that for example the Italians have started?

    Afaik it works in the same way as supporting allied CPU players in a battle. If you have access to the destination of the crusade, simply move an army on that territory when the crusade arrives. Since a crusade can move through christian territory without triggering a war you wouldn't be able to follow it without causing a war and risking an excommunication. Afaik the biggest army gets the territory after the victory. If that is you the crusade will attack you the next round. So maybe you should use a smaller army.

    However I haven't played this game for years, so I might be wrong. Just started a new game with the Spanish.

    ^^ In that case you have to be allied with the Italians to make it work.

    You must become a member to edit your posts, and you r yet a junior!
    You cannot join a crusade, if you mean drag-n-drop your troops in a crusader army started by another faction... But you can assist your crusading allies by attacking your mutual enemy to a different province at the same time the crusade arrives.
