Historical Battle Upgrade by me, please read

Hello,
I have just started an upgrade for the Historical Battles section, which will take the overall total up to 54, all battles are real and everything about the happenings within the battle will be as real as I can get them. First what do you guys think? Good idea or bad idea? Secondly, i am at the moment resorting to using the premade maps, some are fine as they are already the same landscape and land as the battle, but some (Mainly seiges) don't look very good, I need someone to make some maps for me (I aren't very good at them), please reply to this thread

My advice is to arrange some sort of collaboration with a Mizu as soon as possible. Without some official support your project will attract little or no popular interest. Even officially backed and trumpeted initiatives struggle in this community.

hehe. i ask myself that every day ;)

i'm a mizu. we're a clan. the clan is actually the Takiyama clan, but we use the prefix of 'mizu' in front of our names in online play. we've done a lot of the maps and other mods for the game, though certainly not exclusively. lots of folks have made maps and mods here.

Simple really.

Visit the Takiyama clan website and get into their forum and express your idea.

No doubt one if not more of them will try to help you if it is to further the game for the community.

From what I can understand you want to make more historical battles which is a great idea.

About advertising. Talk to a member of the ORG staff, (Tera Tosa or if no-one else Kuma) and tell them your idea. Ask kindly for some kind of post on ORG main page and they will no doubt gladly put it up.

Hope this helps. Plus spread the advertising around the Sword Dojo and .com forum so as to tell everyone your plans. They will no doubt try to help and advise as much as they can.
