Provinces

I'm about to buy RTW and I was wondering how many provinces there are in all? And if there are more than the 50 needed for a campaign win can you still conquer the whole map or do you have to stop?
(Didn't see the answers in any guides or FAQ's either)

There around 107 provinces, I've never tried to get an accurate count. See every faction has the objectives 1.take 50 provinces and 2.take Rome. So If you don't take Rome you can conquer the whole map.

I dont know how many in all, but you can go on to conquer the world.

Yeh, despite the complaints against this game it is still well worth it's money and you will find this one of the best online communities around.

There are 105 provinces. You need 50 to win.

Wait for Europa Barbarorum, and you get 195.

You can continue on with your game after 50 provinces and Rome. Just hit CTRL S and that does a quicksave. after the game boots you out to the credits/mainscreen you can then load and conquer the whole world.
