    Summary: This tutorial will add movement points to all strategic map pieces. It will mean that spies, assasins, diplomats, characters, captains and fleets will all gain extra movement points. To make only one of these move faster, see the related link.

    How to - Make all armies move further per turn

    This will increase the movement range for all armies navys etc.

    Open the file descr_character.txt in the data folder.

    Near the top, there is a line:
    Code:
    starting_action_points	80
    Increase this number.

    WARNING: Increasing this number to more than 100 will cause the game to become buggy. If you want units to move even further, use this technique:

    I have found that with BI, the 100 points limitation does not apply anymore. I played an entire game with 160 points and it was fine. The AI took advantage of the extra points too.
