Lancers?

I am more than half way finished with my first Spanish game early/expert. I think I can finish it up pretty quick (paying attention to what is said on the forum is paying off for my skill level) but I am curious about the Lancers. Should I wrap it up and move on to a GH game or breeze thru the next 100 years and have fun with the Lancers.

I have stayed out of many big fights and picked up almost every rebel province of any value, my territory looks like a big “E”. England, Aragon, Almos, Turks, Egyptians are all gone and the Byz are the only other faction that could be a threat but after a few years of training troops I could probably walk across the rest of the map (I have some great generals/heirs, what a contrast to some of the other special ed chinless wonders I have had).

Lancers are funny if you buy them En Masse. 16 stack Lancers with 1/2 dismounted CFKs.
