What To Name The New Iraq?

One issue discussed on Newsnight tonight was that of what to name the new Iraqi state. While I don't see what's wrong with just calling it Iraq, there are clearly those that want to give it a longer and more formal title. The problem is just what to call it.

Main suggestions included:
The Islamic Republic Of Iraq
The Federal Republic Of Iraq
The Republic Of Iraq

Unfortunately, whatever they name it, there are bound to be connotations. Naming it the Islamic Republic of Iraq would give it the same title as Iran and would suggest that the country is run by religious law rather than secular legislation. Federal Republic sounds too Western...

Any thoughts?

Article 13 proclaims "citizens are equal in assuming public position" – but only "in accordance with the conditions established by law."

"Public and private freedoms are protected provided they do not conflict with moral values and public decency."

This is a very strange document!

If all these rights are dependent on implementing legislation, then they are rather meaningless aren't they?

Does the above article 12 mean that slavery would be legal if passed into law?

It's the only name anybody's ever going to use, so I don't see what the point of causing lots of debate over a long name is.

It's not just "Lot's" of them, it's all of them. They all have longer names, depending on the type of governmental system they have set up. That's what decides it, not some kids on a wargaming site, not even the president of the united states. The name is bound by the system of government.
