    Default Voicemod Question

Very simple: how complex is the Voicemod? Will it be available in the beta?

Will it remove that stupid Roman "The day is Ouwwwwwwrsss!"? Please?

You're not going to remove the roman Shaggy, are you?

That roman voice drove me insane. The western voice from MTW was much better. The greek voice in RTW is probly the best sounding i think.

I hated the little 12 year old (no offense to 12 year olds) advisor who was always yelling obvious stuff. Oh boy, did I hate him.

I also hated the advisors, all of them.

Um, I think the voicemod will be in the original languages (not English). Not sure when it will be ready, however.

No, only the in-battle voices, not the narrators.

We still need to address the specifics, and Shigawire has been very busy lately, so I've no idea when the campaign map and out-of-battle sounds will be addressed.

I've got all the campaign map commands translated for Latin. They just need to be recorded when he gets a chance. I started on the battle map events (the day is ours!), but still have a number of those to go.

edit: the nice thing about that is that you still will get the "subtitles" in english for battle map events - or the messages dropping down. So even if it is in Latin you will still understand what is going on.

Will there be languages other then Latin for the factions that aren't roman? Gaulish? Greek? Scythian? Pahlavi?

well afaik. EB has been shoping around for people being able to recreate 'gallic' ( i'm a noob about this stuff) and other 'barbarian languages'.
afaik, all battle speeches will be in their native tonque. but with subtitles

Nothing says 'nancy boy' like that little pre-pudescent twirp who either praises or morns the outcome for Roman battles.

I would rather hear some pilfered sound bites from the movie GLADIATOR.

    "on my mark, unleash hell"

"hold the line, stay with me"

    "ROMA VICTOR!"
