There's no info about the other units bar the ones present.

I'm about to be even more cruel, but this story is pretty funny.

I made a battle at Badon Hill during the day between the Eastern Empire and the Saxons. I was defending, and this time the Saxons had to ford the river. The battle started well enough with a huge melee by the riverside:

The Saxons are beginning to break, when I notice a few archers swimming across the river trying to come up on my blindside:

I send my general's bodyguard to get them, seeing as they just emerged from the river. But as they reach them they quickly fall back into the water. One problem - my general's unit can't swim. I thought he'd stop and let them get away, but not this guy. He edges into the water and I quickly see a cut scene of him dying in the water with no units nearby! The stupid arse drowned! Now I probably haven't played Rome as much as you guys but I've never seen anything like this before, so excuse me if its common knowledge. Funniest of all though was the sight of the horse and his body floating down the river. Rest assured I got a pic of that, though you really had to see it in real time:

And the moral of that story kids is don't go near the water if you know what's good for you! Thankfully I avenged his death and secured Badon Hill for the Eastern Empire!
