and change richard.adf into saladin.adf and vice versa and u can play with being saladin.

u will also notice that teh ai is remarkably stupid. the 20 h6 royal knights will charge uphill to face more than 1000 enemies.... that aint only brave imo

but alas we should be lucky that we have online play

have fun with this first demo mod.

i am sure teh real modders will make bigger things.

btw u can open the adf files and change some tjings. u can also double/copy the forces up to 16 units ofcourse and create your own Jaffa battle.

you can just switch "LOCAL" and "ARTIFICIAL" statements in the Jaffa.bdf file: it's easier and works just as well. (I think you can even give the english an AI by setting the flag in the same rules from true to false and vice versa, I'm gonna try it).

yup. read it yesterday, but didnt want to dash your bubble of being the first mod. there was already a jaffa mod posted on the org and someone else already beat you to switching sides, as well. but thanks for the info on how to do it.

yep change the original lines in Jaffa.bdf to:
Player::"Sultan Saladin" 4 4 LOCAL "saladin" 0 false 22066 5924 0 MUSLIM_CULTURE
Player::"Richard Coeur de Lion" 5 5 ARTIFICIAL "richard" 0 true 19588 28226 180 CHRISTIAN_CULTURE
Now you can play as Saladin and the English will have some AI. They will attack immediately though.
