Does anybody know of a way to modify saved games? I'd like to be able to move units around, change the amount of money somebody has, etc.
Thanks!

1) When a forum has the following topics stickied at the top:
- Read this before posting!
and - Posting a thread that doesn't contain tool/tutorial/guide will result in a ban!
You might find it a good idea to read them before posting.
Moved from the Scriptorium to the General forum.
Nauraran check your PMs.
2) You want something called RomeSage.
.
Epistolary Richard's modding Rules of CoolCool modders make their mods with the :mod command line switch
If they don't, then Cool mod-users use the Mod Enabler (JSGME)
Cool modders use show_err
Cool modders use the tutorials database
Cool modders check out the Welcome to the Modding Forums! thread
Cool modders keep backups
Cool modders help each other out
Sorry! But I did read the "Posting a thread...ban!" thread, and it said "just kidding!" :-}Originally Posted by Epistolary Richard
Thanks for the input.
Basically what I'm looking for is some way I can get the functionality of a multiplayer campaign, so I'd like to be able to edit unit positions, region ownership, faction treasury, etc.
Nauraran, I believe a team tried this approach to a multiplayer campaign, but I think they failed because the save game file became unstable.
I'm currently working on a multiplayer campaign using a different approach.
