Question If the Marian reforms don't occur....

    ....then what happens?!

I am in 198 BC and I have 3 Imperial Palaces in Italy. I was the first to build them. Also, I have conquered Rome.

    Been to:

Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.

A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?

    It occurs maximum in 180B.C.

I wonder if the date can be modded, so the reforms can be at a specific date.

Surely you could just adjust the time frame where it happens, as opposed to the centuary long wait you may have now, anrrow the limits to 106-108 BC (I thnk they happened in 107BC in real life)

Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but I was under the impression that the Senate still had to control Rome for the reforms to happen.

You build the Imperial Palace, then you wait, as their is a percentage chance each turn that the Reforms will occur. As turns go on, the percentage chance increases. They'll occur eventually, you just need to be patient.
