Have both but only use the p.c whilst at home. More memory, more power better performance.

Right now I only have PC, but soon in the near fiture I am getting a laptop for school. It's easier to do things like watch movies when you are not home.

PC - I find laptops a bit too small (and the keys don't have enough 'give').

I would like both, PC for power, laptop for LAN's and travel.

So far I only have a PC though....

Well, I bought a laptop in the summer of 2000. It served me very very well for many years. But... I had to get this (a desktop) for RTW

My biggest beef with laptops is their inflexibility. You can't upgrade them at all! But that little HP (which I still have and works fine) did great for over 4 years.

I also have a laptop at work... but we are also given proper a proper mouse and keyboard to use. Heck, even a standard desktop monitor if we want (but I dont' bother with that).

I'd say both! Nothing like taking my laptop to our library and just camping out for a day working on a paper. But... on this I can camp out for a day at play MTW
