Editing a bif file - how to

But you should be able to follow the process

i've been playing and modding neverwinter nights lately, and found an item in one of the forums about .bif's. apparently they're using them in that game also and have an extractor/editor as well. sorry, i didnt note the url or the exact post, but if i run across it again i'll post it here. dont know much about it or if it would be compatible at all, but interesting nonetheless.

Yeah, Kraellin I noticed that as well. I actually downloaded the editor with the intent of seeing if it would open one our bifs (though I doubt it will) but you have to have the actual NWN game installed in order to use the editor. I'm not completely sure how it works but it asked for NWN specific game files and I was unable to just point it to one of our bif's.
