    i no longer read magazines

i find that the Internet is generally much more informative than magazines are. plus it's free, not counting the ISP subscription cost. but since i already pay for the Internet anyhow and use it for gaming and such, might as well get the most comprehensive information for free rather than pay for a shallower, more obsolete version to come my way via a magazine

I have a subscription to PCGamer, and occasionally read something out of Newsweek, National Geographic or the NYTimes magazine.

I read different ones each month, depending on what articles they have. Over the last year I have been mostly reading: BBC History Magazine, Military History and FHM, plus some wargaming ones as well.

I don't read mags anymore, used to read Scientific American and Popular Science(which sent me issues until a year after my subscription expired). I did buy a copy of Military History Maf at the airport though.

There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.
